There are two terrific parks located in Vintage Ranch. First is Shenandoah Park which includes basketball courts, an athletic field, BBQ's, pavilions and a playground. The other is Silver Oak Park, located next door to the Canyon Oaks Elementary School, where you will find BBQ areas, an athletic field and playground. Additionally, at the corner of Donaldson Way and Newell drive is the entrance to the Newell Open Space Preserve, a 620 open space preserve that backs up to Lynch Canyon Open Space Park.

Neighboring Fairfield is home to the Travis Air Force Base, which is under the operational control of the Air Mobility Command.
