The Browns Valley Neighborhood is bounded on the west by the city limit line and and on the north by Redwood Creek and also Redwood Road.  The south boundary is the open space just beyond Leaning Oak drive.The eastern boundary meanders just west of Thompson avenue then east on Browns Valley road then north at Highway 29 to Redwood Creek.

Browns Valley Road was named and was one of the first improved roads in western Napa in 1911. That improvement was paid for by the neighbors that the road serviced.
